"I was a teacher at Chiba Language school for over a year. It was my first experience in an Asian country and I was a bit scared at first being so far from home in a place I didn’t know much about. The school was a second family to me, teaching me so much and helping me with anything I needed also outside the school environment. The food is delicious and cheap especially in the south of Taiwan, not many people speak English but in true Taiwanese fashion they always tried their best to assist me (using Google translate or body language). I can strongly affirm Taiwanese are the friendliest people I’ve met so far.
